Crazy for Pillows

There are a lot of great pillows out there.

With so many options, it makes it really hard to choose one.

Here are some I am smitten with.

This living room is so me.

I love the pillows she used.

(Coincidentally, I sewed two of the Chiang Mai Dragon 

pillows for our house last Friday.)

I finally found my style in one picture.

To me this room has a sophisticated look that doesn't look too stuffy.

It is eclectic with some modern and traditional elements.

It tells me a story and it looks lived in.

I fell in love with the art above the fireplace too.

I suggested it to hubby as a Christmas present and 

he happily ordered two of them. I hate surprises so 

I am so happy he obliged and got me just what I wanted.

Hubby is the best! I can't wait for Christmas now.

I was so happy to see that we have some of the same pillows.

Christine's living room made me decide to order a pillow

in the Kelly Wearstler Imperial Trellis fabric

in the midnight color.

I have always been a fan of this fabric

and when I saw how well the combination of pillows worked 

I had to order one. It will sit on a chair we are getting reupholstered.

I needed a break from sewing and that's why I ordered it. 

I still have 4 more pillows to sew for our house though.

I am mastering the skill of sewing pillows.

Here are my Chiang Mai Dragon pillows.
They are the alabaster color and I love them.

I love the colors - green, red, yellow, aqua, pink, purple, gray and navy.

I love that there is just enough yellow to go 

with our rug and just enough pink to make me happy.

They don't normally sit there.

I would show you our sofa where they go but it's too ugly.

Thank goodness we are getting rid of it next Spring

before we head to Peru.

I have been changing our pillows constantly in our living room since I started 

sewing, but this time I am going in the right direction

and they will be stay for a while.
