I Wish You A Merry Thanksgiving
I finally finished our table scape for our Thanksgiving dinner. I stopped at a really cute florist shop yesterday after work and I pulled out my inspiration picture for my flower arrangements. Since my Thanksgiving plates have green and pink in them I thought something like this would complement it perfectly. I like how the flower arrangement is not your typical arrangement.
The ladies at florist shop were so nice. I kept my flower budget to $20 and I am really happy with the results. I used wet floral foam that you can find at most craft stores. And I love using Paul Revere style silver-plated bowls to display them in. I have found these bowls at thrift stores and Etsy.
Hubby and I are starting a Thanksgiving tradition this year. We will each write up a few reasons of what we are grateful for in small note cards and place those in a jar which we are calling "blessing jar". Each year we will keep adding to the "jar" and around Christmas we will pull out a few cards and read them to each other and AJ of course.
This year I am thankful to all of you who read this "journal" of mine. I am so honored and flattered by those of you who have shared with me that I have inspired you. I hope to keep motivating and/or inspiring you by sharing those things that I am drawn to. All of your sweet words and comments keep me going and motivated. Thank you!
