New Christmas Stockings & Our Dog

Is it too early to talk about Christmas?
Well, besides going to the ball this weekend I sewed two Christmas stockings.
Two more to go - mine and Marley's, our dog.
By the way, I thought sewing stockings would be super easy, but not so much.
In my experience, things that seem easy almost never are.
Now that I have done two, its definitely getting easier.
I put one on our mantle just too see how it would look.
I used my favorite linen fabric in ivory.
I chose a light fabric so that it can go with everything and it is easy to add color to it.
The ribbon shown will be replaced by a brighter one.
I am thinking of an aqua color for the boys and a pink ribbon for Marley and I.
I don't think Marley,
a male dog that gets confused as a female dog
will mind the pink.
This is Marley at a hotel sans AJ.
He was so spoiled.
I am bored of the traditional green and red Christmas.
I want something more fun.
I am loving these Christmas images.
This picture makes me wish I had some French doors in our living room.
And recently, Full House posted these pictures that I am smitten with.
Happy Holiday Season!
