Urban Farmhouse

I have been wanting to go visit this fairly new store for a while now

and I finally had an opportunity today.

The ladies, Michelle & Lisa, at Urban Farmhouse are so lovely and nice.

If you are ever in the area, you must visit them.

I love the numbered staircase.

They really pay attention to detail.

And this is the dresser I ended up buying.

Can you believe the price was $95?

I had been wanting an antique dresser like this for some time now.

I recently read this post where Nate Berkus 

said that the two most important furniture investments for a home

are and I am quoting him here:

 "A beautifully well-made simply upholstered sofa. Don't go for a trend.

Don't go for pattern. Don't go for color. Do it in linen or in leather or in 

cotton duck, something that's just durable and is going to stand the test of time,

Second to that, a vintage or antique chest of drawers will last forever."

I totally agree with him.
