I was just reading the new issue of Food & Wine.

I was excited to see the mention of Lima, Peru under the section

Where to Go Next, 3 Food Cities to Watch.

Here are the three restaurants Food & Wine loves in Lima:

Central Restaurante

Chef Virgilio Martinez is redefining Peruvian cooking

using lessons and techniques he learned from more than 10 years

of working in top kitchens around the globe.

Amor Amar

This restaurant is set in a 1900's mansion.

It has a well-hidden entrance and an art gallery.

Mesa 18

Run by Argentinean Chef Federico Ziegler

who uses his French-influenced cooking.

I can not wait to dine at these places.

I am getting more and more excited about moving to Lima.

My only concern is that I won't feel at home since we will

store most of our belongings and thank goodness we are selling some furniture.

That is a big plus and I can't wait to start fresh in some of our rooms

when we return from Lima.
