Projects I Am Taking To Peru

I have two pieces of furniture that need some work -

the secretary desk and a wing back chair I purchased a while back.

Since labor is probably a lot cheaper in Peru I am shipping both pieces.

The secretary desk will hopefully get this look.

And my wing back chair will get reupholstered 

in this David Hicks fabric and will go in the master bedroom or living room.

If it goes in the master bedroom, then some things in the bedroom will change.

And I also have a wooden frame chair that I am contemplating giving it this look.

The chair doesn't necessarily need work, but I am loving the upholstered frame look.

And if labor is way cheaper, I better take advantage of that right?

I hope to find someone soon upon our arrival in mid-April to get these jobs done.

When I said we only had 8 weeks I meant in California.

Hubby has work in DC before we leave to Peru. 

AJ and I will be visiting family and friends during that time

and then we will meet hubby and his parents in DC

before our departure to Peru in mid-April.
