Almost There!

The worst is over! We have moved in to our hotel in the States and the shipment to Peru should be on its way via airplane and ship thanks to the graciousness of the US military. We are getting closer and closer each day to starting our new adventures in South America.

And thank goodness for my little helper. He reminds me each day that change isn't all that bad. So far he has done great. He slept in a big boy bed last night for the first time without a problem. I thought the first night would have been the worst. From now on, he will be sleeping in a big bed since he was jumping out of his crib way too much and worsened an already hurt foot from playing too hard in school. Are boys this rough? He also broke a vintage alabaster marble lamp before the movers arrived. Oh well, he didn't get hurt and that is the good news.
