As of this Sunday, our new temporary abode are hotels - one in the States
and another in Peru - until the beginning of May when we move in to
our new apartment in Peru. Hotel living for sure has its perks, but there are also
some disadvantages. We each have three bags to bring with us. I was able to
convince hubby that we needed all and now he understands why. To makemy our
hotel stay feel more like home I packed a few things: scented candles, a couple of
small picture frames, a small stack of old magazines that I still haven't gone
through, my favorite throw, and a few other necessities that will make the long
stay feel more like home. And of course for AJ, lots of books, games,
movies and small toys to help keep him entertained during this transition.

What things would you take to make a long hotel stay feel more like home?
Please do share. Our bags are packed, but I think I may have a bit of room left.
P.S. The packers/movers are here tomorrow and all of next week.
It has been a busy week and please forgive me if I haven't visited you.
