Hi everyone...it's Christine here from Bijou and Boheme and I'm delighted to be taking part in Sara's gorgeous series, Fashion Files.

To say I love accessories would be a bit of an um...understatement.
I'm pretty much a jewelry/shoe/purse hoarder.
Here are some of my most treasured pieces....starting with my favourite- jewelry.
This is my jewelry depot- statues for necklaces, bowls for bracelets, a vase for earrings and a tray for my rings.
These are my most precious jewels.
The diamond watch was gifted to me from my great aunt and it is my single favourite belonging- it's gloriously pretty.  The diamond and black pearl earrings were a gift from my husband when we first got married, as were the diamond studs...oh those were the days!  The ruby and diamond earrings are vintage and again, were a gift from my aunt.  The wedding rings, well they're pretty self explanatory...platinum, emerald-cut center stone and pave diamond surrounds- I quite like them. And last but not least, a vintage crystal brooch of my grandmothers that I wore in my hair for my wedding.
These are my gold faves.
The top ring is one of my very favourite everyday pieces- it was my mother's ring and I adore it's quirky shape- I wear it everyday without fail.  The other ruby ring was again my moms and it's a big chunky piece of goodness.  The thick gold band was my mother in laws and I wear it on top of the blue beauty since it's a little large on my finger.  The crystal earrings were a made-of-honour gift from my sister when she got married...very special to me.
Next up, my favourite necklaces.
The top left is a crystal Biko piece that I recently acquired and quite love- the other crystal beauties are actually hand made pieces by yours truly (the leaf chain is one I added to from Gorjana...a giveaway win from the lovely Hallie of The Glam Lamb.)  The gold clover necklace is Stella & Dot and it's an everyday layer piece. The gold and crystal beauty on the left is by Fallon and I love love love it- definitely my favourite newly aquired piece. Next, we have my pearls- I actually own a few strands that were gifted from my aunt and mother-in-law and the bottom natural pearl/crystal necklace is a vintage piece I bought in Chicago for my wedding- I actually didn't end up wearing it but I treasure it's feminine charm just the same.
Moving on from jewelry, we have shoes and scarves- I love both and have a collection that I quite enjoy.
Truth be told, I am somewhat frugal when it comes to party shoes...I just don't see the need to spend huge buckets on them when there's plenty of pretty at a reasonable price point.  I invest in great boots since I wear them all the time but for high heels that I buy almost every time I have an event, cheapish and cheerful is my mantra.
Pictured below are some of my favourite flats, booties and heels.

And last but not least, we've got bags and I like them.
I used the green Coach alot but my go to bag is the ridiculously convenient brown leather Roots sling bag- it holds everything and makes lugging kids/gear/supplies around very easy.
The yellow purse is an Italian designer whose name escapes me at the moment- I paid half of retail because a good fried of mine at the time had this wholesale accessory business- it's my go to summer bag.
The clutches are a sampling of my favourites- the Cory Renee leopard is my number one choice at the moment, along with the black fur Club Monaco number that I've owned forever. My newest one is the
Scout & Catelogue pouch and I've been using it inside my other purse to keep my wallet and sunglasses safe from the mass dumpage that usually takes place inside my glorious black hole of a brown bag.
So there you have it.
A little preview of some of my favourite fashion accessories...hope you enjoyed!!!
A big thanks to Sara for having me!!!
