Laundry Room Sink Skirt

Thanks to my friend Katie I had some idea what the laundry room looked like.
I knew I wanted to add a sink skirt to cover the gas tank and cleaning supplies. As soon, as I had
a moment to myself this weekend, I unpacked my sewing machine and got to work. I was
going to use the Manuel Canovas fabric as in this inspiration photo, but since we are only in this apartment for about a year I decided to use a cheaper fabric and went with the Thomas Paul fabric I had bought a while back and never used. This room still needs some love, but for now this skirt is doing a lot for it. I was hoping to add some shelving as in this room, but with the tiles covering the wall that has

been a problem. I need to make a trip to Sodimac (our version of Home Depot) and
find an alternate option to my original plan.
It is amazing what some fabric can do to a room!
Happy Tuesday!
