A Classic Peruvian Drink
While in Arequipa, the bartender of our hotel taught us how to make
a very Peruvian classic drink, Maracuya Sour (Passionfruit Sour),
since the hubby and I fell in love with this drink. We made some
last night and honestly this is the best cocktail I have ever had.
We have a lunch date planned at the rooftop of our apartment this weekend
with some friends and I am taking a pitcher of this to share.
Here is the recipe:
2 oz Pisco
1 oz sugar syrup
1/2 of a passionfruit (seeds and all) or 1 oz passionfruit juice
1 egg white (optional)
Fill a shaker with ice and place all ingredients.
Shake very well, strain and serve in a cold glass.
Serves 1.
Salud my friends!
