Some Highlights of My Week

- I joined Bootcamp when we moved to Lima and it has been great

working out again. I am sad that it is coming to an end this week though.

The instructor is moving back to the US and although I am happy for her,

I will miss her and her classes. I met some pretty good ladies in this class,

which mostly consists of Expat women and a few men. As a result,

I recently joined Pilates and I forgot how good Pilates makes me feel.

- Early in the week I bid on a pair of J.Crew sandals on eBay and won.

I was coveting them after I saw this post.

- I made celebratory cupcakes for AJ's first time using the toilet.

He has been eyeing those sprinkles for some time now and I thought

it would be nice to finally have him eat them.

- I had been craving this Italian meat sauce for quite some time now

and finally got around to making it. I love that you simmer it for hours

and it makes the house smell like a home. And it truly is amazing!

- And today, for the second time I am visiting the Jonathan Adler factory outside of Lima.

Did you know he has some of his ceramics made here in Peru?
