Farmhouse Table {Sneak Peek}

A couple of months ago we hired a carpenter to make a farmhouse 

table using tropical wood from Peru. We thought it would be a great souvenir and 

reminder of our time in this country. Here is the table almost complete.

More sanding needs to be done and the varnish needs to be applied.

This table will be used in the formal dining room and it may look familiar

because it looks very similar to this table. I cannot wait to have it in our new home

with chairs and with the rest of our belongings. I can foresee entertaining

friends and its memory sparking conversations of our time in Peru.
