Day 7 {Kitchen Office Nook in Progress}

Please pardon the ugly cords in view.

It's always been a dream of mine to have a small work space in the kitchen

where I spend most of my time as a stay-at-home mom. I was so excited when this

desk {I have been obsessed with this Parsons desk and the bigger version too} 

arrived and when I found at TJ Maxx a chair very similar to the one I had my eyes on. It seemed

to all come together perfectly. And I am loving my brass letter holder (as seen here) 

and my new note cards to jot down some ideas for the new house. I am excited to get some

artwork hung above this nook and a few extra details to make it prettier.

Today {Day 8} the backsplash and new countertops get installed and I am pretty anxious

to see it completed. And on Saturday our first shipment from Peru arrives which has the rest

of our kitchenware. As of right now, the only room in the house coming together

is the kitchen. The rest is pretty chaotic. This is also arriving today and it may motivate 

me to hurry up and get the bedroom somewhat organized. Being in my last month of the 

pregnancy has drastically slowed my energy and motivation.
