Goodbye Twenty Twelve {& Happy New Year}

and cheers to a Happy New Year!
This post is a few days overdue but here it goes anyway.
The year 2012 brought so many changes to our lives. We finished our year in
South America in April and relocated to North Carolina. We managed to quickly find
a home in the same month of moving back. We moved into our new house in May, did some
simple upgrades to the kitchen {see this post too}, added a sunroom {see this post and this post}, and unpacked several boxes. Ella Sofia was born in June {see this post too}. Then from there our lives slowed down a bit as a new baby inevitably requires a lot of snuggling time, diaper changes
and feedings. I wrote a post about finding balance in my life that a lot of you related to, but others were very critical. Sometimes I wish I hadn't put it out there, but they were my feelings at that time and not necessarily the reality. Does that make sense? I wrote another post about ten things Moms
 should try to do. This blog has suffered a bit as I am trying to find the right balance with our
 new family of four. I am hoping in this new year, I will be a master at multi-tasking.
Before we left South America I started playing around in Photoshop and I am still learning
a lot of it. I hope that in this new year, my graphics for this blog will be much better.
Another big highlight of 2012 was very recent and it actually was over this Christmas holiday.
It was getting to meet my sister-in-law and her beautiful family who live in London. {It took six years due to work and life circumstances.} The year ended on a very good note - in our new house and with a healthy and happy family.
Welcome 2013! I am sure this year will bring more balance, more happy memories,
and health above all. A few house projects will keep me busy, but more on that later.
Happy New Year my dear friends! Thank you for your support, comments, and
for reading this blog. May this year be full of blessings for you!
