Five Things About Me
This post has been on my mind lately since I have seen some of my fellow blogger friends
do this and when Liz left this post open-ended to everyone, I thought now was the time
to get a few things off my chest and share with you.
1. When I had my first child, AJ, I had a bad case of the baby blues. I remember whispering to
our dog, Marley, "I liked it better when it was just you {Marley} and us". Sad I know!
Those stupid hormones! Of course I don't feel that way anymore. The odd thing was that I had a great
pregnancy and never thought I would be hit with the baby blues. I missed just getting
up and going anywhere without the worry of a baby or having to schedule things around
his nap to get out of the house. It also took me a few months to realize that being a
mommy is one of the best titles in the world.
2. I have a small butterfly tattoo on my back. I regretted it since the moment I got it!
I went home, took a shower, and tried scrubbing it off. Of course that didn't work! I had
laser treatments in South America to get it removed, but I didn't follow up with all
of the appointments because I found out that I was pregnant shortly after beginning
the treatments. The doctor said it was safe, and I am sure it was, but after having a
miscarriage a few months prior, I was too nervous to proceed.
As they say, better safe than sorry.

3. I am a shy person. When I first meet someone I tend to be very reserved. Too much
I think that some people misunderstand my shyness with being a snob. How they
get that is still something I am trying to figure out. Now, I am so aware at not
sounding snobby when I meet someone that sometimes
I feel like I am trying to hard.
4. I can be too critical on myself. I am always worrying about how to be a better
mom, wife, friend, etc. I try to limit my time online every day to sit with my kiddos on
the floor and we play for too long. Needless to say that a lot of times the cleaning
doesn't get done or my shower doesn't happen early in the morning. Something's
gotta give is my new motto and the movie is one of my favorites, but I have digressed.
Happy kiddos equal a happy mom and vice versa.
5. I stopped wearing foundation years ago. I never found one that I loved.
Then I switched to this tinted moisturizer, but when I ran out of it I never took the time
to replace it. A good face lotion with SPF is all I can handle now and this facial oil is
my latest obsession. It gives you a natural glow. However, I have heard great things
about this bb cream and I can't wait to try it out.

And just in case this post wasn't enough about me and you are interested in reading more,
I recently created yet another tab/page titled About Sara. Go read it now to get to know me.
I am also doing a giveaway for an about page graphic. If you need one enter here.
I would love to read your five things. Let me know if you do something like this.
