Happy Weekend {& Links}
{via} |
This was a good and productive week. I lined up some great posts for next week and I am not feeling as overwhelmed lately with work and life. I also came into realization that all I can do is give my best at everything I do {I have a post tomorrow about this topic}. I am also learning so much and I am loving it. So with that I am looking forward to the weekend to do a bit of shopping and on Sunday I am heading to Target to check out the new 3.1 Phillip Lim Collection and hopefully snag a few of these coasters that will make great hostess gifts come the entertaining/holiday season. So here a few links for your enjoyment:
+ A new-to-me blog: Park & Cube.
+ DIY: this makeover is awesome! I can't wait to take a trip to Ikea soon.
+ Food: I made balsamic-honey pork sliders for dinner Wednesday night and we loved it. A complete new take on bbq sauce and so good. By the way, I don't use a slow cooker anymore. I just throw the ingredients in my Le Creuset pot, cut the "on-high" time by half and slow cook in a 350F oven. It works great!
+ Wear: I am loving this take on wearing booties with boyfriend jeans. A great mix of feminine and masculine.
+ Coveting: The picture above and this one has me completely wanting to add a frilly skirt for a date night with the hubby and this one is a great and affordable option. I am just undecided on white or black. Now I just need to schedule the sitter and make date night happen.
+ Watch: And here's a video of Shini {Park & Cube} shooting a video for Nina Ricci and Shini is once again wearing the frilly skirt in the white version with a dark sweater. So I think I made up my mind that the white can easily be worn casually during the day and easily dressed up for date night. The white one it is and I do love my winter whites.
