How To: Style An Inspiration Board

With every change in season, I like to update the look of my inspiration board. It is so refreshing to change the scenery in my office nook and get inspired for new things and get perspective on what's to come in the next few months. I gave you a sneak peek on instagram yesterday of a few new things going up on my board.

Now is the perfect time to get yours started as well. Here are some simple steps I follow to style my board:
One // Gather supplies: Push pins, washi tape, a disposable tray, glitter glue, glitter, and a small brush.
Two // Gather printables, instagrams, photos, etc. Find some great quotes on my Pinterest. And above is one of my own that you can find here. If I find a quote on Pinterest I want to use, I always print them on card stock paper.
Three // Start deciding the placement of your printables going up on your inspiration board.
Four // Once you have decided the placement, decide what is getting a touch of glitter. This step is your personal preference, but I like how glitter adds some fun and a bit of sparkle.

Five // Finally, pin or tape your printables.

I ended up replacing my diy inspiration board {spotted here} with this bulletin board. I applied a coat of paint to it so that it would blend in with the wall. Here's a helpful tip: I mixed my wall color paint with a bit of white paint.
