Holiday Getaway to Asheville

About two weeks ago, we decided that we needed a little getaway. Asheville has been on our must-visit list so I got on the internet searching for a cozy cabin to spend the weekend. To my luck, I found the last available cabin and it turned out to be just perfect for us. We are planning on making this a yearly destination. I had heard from the locals that Biltmore during this time of year is beautiful so of course we had to do that. It truly was magnificent and the history of the place is amazing. It kind of made me wish I could go back in time and sit in one of those immense rooms. Since our vacation was short we didn't get to do everything we wanted, but there's always next year. Here's what we did do:

Brunch at Tupelo Honey and Early Girl in downtown Asheville. Photos 1, 2, 21 of the downtown.
Enjoyed our cozy cabin with coffee, a fire, fishing, and walking the grounds. Photos 3 - 8.
• Tour Biltmore. You must get the headsets if it's your first time visiting. Do the candlelight tour if it's around this time of year. Photos 9, 17, 18.
• Walked around Antler Village in Biltmore. We watched and listened to the carolers and met Santa. Photos 10 - 13.
• Since we like our wine, we went on over to the winery and did the wine tasting. They have a grape juice tasting for the kids.
• The kids loved the petting zoo located in Antler Village. Photos 14 - 16.
• Visited Grove Park Inn. Photos 19, 20

P.S. Stay tuned to a post later this week when I share what I'll be using to prep the guest bedroom/bathroom for guests this holiday season. It will definitely include these adorable and natural hello products breath sprays. A giveaway for some hello products is also coming soon.
