Weekend Memo

How has your week gone? It's been a busy one for me. I definitely like them busy though. However, I have been making an effort at taking time in the day to relax a little bit more and read some of my favorite blogs. It can be refreshing and a mental break from brainstorming my own posts or design work is occasionally welcomed. Sometimes even a little baking session can be refreshing in its own way {see this photo}.

Here are some links I thought worthy of sharing:

Organize: If your kitchen pantry is in need of organization check out this post.
• Cooking tip: If you have cooked meat in the past and wondered how long you need to cook it for or what it should feel like, read this post from Silvia.
• Entertain: The perfect marble and wood board for a cheese plate like this one.
• Diptyque Candles: Tamira posted great tips on Diptyque candle sizes for newbies.
• Blog design: I just finished installing the design on this blog. And I have some other fun ones in the works.
• Interiors: I loved this home in SMP Living.
• Recent buy: In an effort to find a new pair of ballet flats, I ordered these on major sale. Shop the J.Crew sale with an 40% off with code FUNSALE.

And coming next week I have some exciting things here. I will share the first of a few posts I have planned in my "Signature Pieces" series and I also have a special guest in my new "Mommies Behind the Blog" series. It should be fun so make sure you pop on over.

Have a fabulous weekend! I'm off to go do a little shopping with the kiddos in tow.

P.S. The image above has me lusting over a bouquet of fresh peonies. I may just need to stop by Whole Foods and see if they have any in stock.
