As much as I love dressing up for date nights, I have to say that I enjoy day dates the most. It must be because the hubby and I rarely have moments to ourselves to go window shopping, grab a bite without being interrupted, sit down to enjoy a cocktail somewhere nice and just catch up on life. Lately it sort of feels like we are living separate lives. He's been gone a lot and well I am at home with the kiddos doing my day to day thing. So I guess the idea of a day date to just stroll around without a worry in life sounds so good right now. We may just need to work on scheduling a date soon.
