Weekend Memo

It's been one of those weeks. So many big things happening all at once and I've been feeling like all I want to do is hide. I know, I know that's not how to handle stress and big things. But even if I wanted to hide, it's pretty much impossible with the kiddos. Anyway, enough complaining. Life is good and I have so much to be thankful for. So let me get to the big thing. For the last month, we've anticipated the hubby to deploy and then he wasn't and then he was, and it's been like that for the past few weeks. A complete yo-yo mess. Anyway, he is. He leaves really, really soon and although I'm happy for what this could mean for his career, at the same time it's a lot to be a single mom. And while I have my experience at being solo, a lot actually, it's definitely hard at times. For you moms out there that do this everyday I so admire you and would appreciate any tips. Anyway, this week I have been doubting just about everything and anything. Name it and I've probably doubted it. While my instagram account and most of every post here may seem cheery and happy, I've been rallying myself to be just that. Energy follows thought after all. But, we all have our feelings and most of the time it's okay to feel them and release them. So here's my truth about this week. My instagram account does help to keep things light.

And now to some happy links:
Wearing: I've been obsessed with lace dresses such as this one, so I'm wearing this one {also here} for Easter Sunday. The Dolce Vita dress will also be perfect come summer to wear to the beach or anywhere really with a pair of cute sandals or flip flops.
• Weekend Deal: If you're ordering flowers for Easter, Bloom 2 Bloom is having 20% off with code smiles20.
• Shop: The Loeffler Randall Friends & Family sale with 20% off. Use code FRIENDLY.
• Collaboration: I'm anxiously awaiting the J.Crew x Sophia Webster collaboration out at the end of the month. Read more about it here and here.
• Wanderlust: Pretty palm trees have me dreaming of Florida or Southern California beaches.
• To-do: My inspiration board is way overdue on a refresh and this pretty one has me aching for a transformation soon.
• DIY: It's not too late to attempt this easy Easter DIY table setting. Get the kiddos involved with the place card bunnies and make it fun!
• Wise words: "The goal of life isn't to make a lot of money. It's to make a life that means something." Words by Lara Casey. See the quote here.

Now, let's go have a happy weekend!
