EMS Turns Two: Dyed Marshmallow Treats

I certainly can't take the credit for this idea of dying marshmallows. But when I was thinking of ordering these instagram marshmallows for EMS party, I knew I wanted more marshmallows as a treat. And since ordering a ton of the instagram marshmallows were not in the budget for the party, I searched Pinterest for ideas and found these dyed marshmallows.

Here's how I did mine:

1 cup of water
neon food coloring tubes {I used pink and purple}
mega marshmallows {found these big ones at Walmart}

1. To the water add several drops of food coloring {about 10 drops depending on the brightness you want}.
2. Mix it.
3. Gently and holding the marshmallow, drop it into the dye mixture. I dropped each sort of a different way each time to get them looking a bit different.
4. Let dry on a cooling rack for several hours.
