5 Smart Ways For Moms To Juggle It All

Being a mom is so rewarding, but can be exhausting, especially when you are juggling the roles of being the mom and the dad. As I enter the third month of being a single parent {the hubby is deployed}, I have definitely learned a few things and therefore implemented a few new ways of doing things. Smarter ways to juggle it all. You may already be doing this and this may not be anything new to you. Regardless, this is what works for me as of late and I wanted to share them with you.

1. Maximize your time. The first and most important is to do anything that saves time. Online shopping is my answer. And I'm not referring to clothes and shoes here because I already do this. I'm talking about grocery shopping and buying house essentials in bulk. Many grocery stores now offer online shopping as a service and all you do is pull over to the curb of the store and they will even load your groceries for you.

I also buy my daughter's diapers in bulk and find that getting them delivered to the door is so convenient. We've been using Huggies diapers and they are definitely my favorite so I highly recommend them.

Therefore, I teamed up with Diapers{dot}com and Huggies to bring you exclusive savings of $12 off your first diapers[dot]com purchase of a Huggies diaper case using the code WOWHUGGIES at checkout. In addition, you can get free shipping on any order of $49 or more. So go take advantage of this $12 off promotion.

2. Wake up before anyone else does. Having a half hour to an hour by myself in the morning does wonders for me. I'm always amazed by how much I can get done. Some days, I may choose to do a quick workout and other times I just need my coffee, my laptop, or my phone to catch up on social media.

3. Make lists and prioritize. Strive for progress and not perfection.

4. Get involved and stay active. Nowadays, there are so many organizations that have summer camps for the kids. Some libraries have summer programs for free. On days, where we have no schedule, I make sure to get the kids out of the house so that they get some fun. We are blessed to live so close to the beach. Just a couple of hours out works wonders and I find that when we return home, they are much more willing to have quiet time and let me get some work done.

5. Make time for you to recharge your batteries. This one is hard for me. I'm such a hands on mom, but I know it's good for me and for them as well.
What are some smart ways you've implemented lately to juggle it all as a Mom?
