Christmas in Savannah {Travel Guide}
Savannah is one of my favorite places. I love the historic architecture, the culture, the shops and restaurants, the parks and squares, the spanish moss, the history, and I find it even more beautiful at Christmas time. It's just so quaint! We are lucky to visit every year after Christmas and this year we decided to take full advantage of our trip. We walked all day so my flats were a must!
We started the morning with coffee and breakfast at The Collins Quarter. It's such a beautiful place!
The food is delicious and I really enjoyed their Lavender Mocha. They use Toby's Estate Coffee so you know it's good.
It was my first time visiting Number Four Eleven and I absolutely loved the store. I regretted not buying some new Matouk linens, but thank goodness for their online store.
Outfit details: Banana Republic Margaux Sunglasses {on sale}, Loren Hope Earrings, Acne Studios Canada Scarf, Zara Wool Coat {love this one}, Sophie Hulme Bag, Rag & Bone High Rise Skinny Jeans, J. Crew Bow Ballet Flats, Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave
We sipped on afternoon drinks at Soho South Cafe after strolling through the city {see the first set of photos}.
And then we were off to do some shopping. First stop was Sylvester & Co. Modern General.
Another favorite store is Prospector Co. and the hubby always finds a few things. He treated himself to a new Daniel Wellington watch.
The Paris Market is always a must and I always find great things. I always restock my Christmas gift wrap here because it's half off and it's beautiful paper. This year I found beautiful new ornaments, a vintage silver vase, and sparklers for the new year.Whenever the hubby and I have a date or go away by ourselves, we always bring something special for the kids. And since the kids love macarons, vanilla macarons from The Paris Market in the prettiest shade of blue it was.
After some shopping, it was time for afternoon tea at Gryphon Tea Room.We ended the night at our favorite spot, The Public Kitchen & Bar. It's casual, but nice and we love the atmosphere. I crave their shrimp and grits all year long. Until next year Savannah!
