Food Wine Woman + Flowers

nofilter_saramueller_lavenderhoneyicecreamwine_saramuellerwinterblues_saramueller1winterblues_saramueller2I thought I would share some scenes from the weekend in what I hope becomes a new series around here {modeled after the Food & Wine hashtag #foodwinewomen}. But maybe for the sake of this post the title should be ice cream flowers wine woman. Ha! But regardless, the title of the series works for me because I'm almost always drinking come dinner time, cooking {or baking} something delicious, with a bit of style thrown in and always with flowers from the market. It seems like this winter is here to stay for a while and I've been brightening up my days with winter whites {my Industry Standard NY jeans have been heavily on rotation}, homemade ice cream, a nice bottle of wine, and fresh flowers. No matter what the weather is, those things are sure to cheer me up. And if I'm the one doing the wine shopping, most of the time I'll choose the bottle for the pretty design. Yes, I'm not ashamed to admit it. And this new cardigan doesn't hurt either. It's so cozy and warm it will probably be on heavy rotation as well. By the way my homemade lavender honey ice cream is heavenly!
