From Low Country to the Big City
News arrived on Monday morning that we are leaving North Carolina at the beginning of summer for the big city of Miami Beach. With the hubby's career, moving every two to three years is common, and I've grown to like that. Exploring each new state and/or country has fulfilled my dreams of traveling often. This move will mark the fourth move in six years, but I'm not complaining. After a couple of months of feeling in limbo, we can finally start planning the move among other things. I'll have to start trading the sweaters for summer dresses and of course make sure my beach attire is well outfitted. We are hoping to live in the city so that we can walk to restaurants, cafés, and shops without having to hop on a car. We will definitely be getting some beach bikes this year too. And I'm hoping to learn to paddle board. I also can't wait to play tourist in Miami and maybe have a staycation at Casa Tu or at The Raleigh. As always, I'll keep you posted as our move progresses.
