Gardening & Picnic-ing

Here are a few scenes from our fun weekend. It turned out not be rainy at all so we took advantage of the beautiful weather to do some gardening and enjoy a picnic outside. As the saying goes, Spring brings April showers and May flowers. The flowers arrived in April though. Ha! And since we are moving soon and our house is going on the rental market, the gardening we did definitely added some necessary curb appeal. We added some mini hydrangeas, petunias, and begonias. Just a few little things to give the yard some color and prettiness for Spring. Oh and the kiddos just had to get a flamingo too which is now named Fluffy Flamingo.In case you are wondering, our picnic included some Kozy Shack puddings, some lemonade, fresh strawberries, and homemade sandwiches - better-for-you-snacking, simple and delicious!
