Mini Moments
Lunching on avocado toast with sliced watermelon radishes and flor de sal.House goals: climbing pink roses in my garden.Enjoying the warmer weather with trips to the beach.Snacking smarter with these pudding pops.We hosted a party this weekend to say goodbye to friends and neighbors. This photo was taken before we set the outdoor table. We arranged a 14-seat table as our communal table. Then we set vases of peonies and ranunculus across the table, and as place settings we had mason jars for drinks. Gotta do it the Southern way. For easy set up, napkins, utensils, and straws were inserted inside the mason jars.Taking advantage of peony season by getting weekly bouquets.
Drinking Teavana Tea has become part of my afternoon ritual.
Life lately has been busy and stressful with the upcoming move. These mini moments have been obligatory to stay sane and happy before we transition our lives to another city. My life has consisted of several realtor calls, house cleaning and de-cluttering, and last-minute appointments with dentists and doctors so I don't have to be in a rush to find them as we get there. The closer we get to the move date, the more things I feel I need to get done. But as we transition to the place we will soon call home, I'm looking forward to our house hunting trip coming up. We will be kid-free for a few days and since our anniversary falls right around our house hunting trip, we have made reservations to stay at The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach. For that, I can't wait!
These mini moments that include peony bunches, beach days, tea time, and better-for-you eating have definitely helped to keep my stress levels manageable. It's always the little things in life that make it that more special.
