A Father's Day Beach Picnic + Giveaway
Before life with moving gets any more hectic, we decided to celebrate Father's Day a bit early and a picnic at our favorite spot at the beach seemed appropriate. This might just turn out to be our new tradition to celebrate Dad.

This last photo happens to be my favorite shot. I even love the blurred effect of it. I'm thinking it's a good one to enlarge and frame in our new Miami home.
So here's how the day went: I packed and organized the picnic in the afternoon so that we would be ready to enjoy an evening at the beach. Being a weekend the kiddos could stay up past their bedtime so that we could enjoy watching the North Carolina sunset. I chose to make gourmet-ish sandwiches and accompany them with a delicious fresh salad that I put in canning jars, some grapes on the side, and some drinks in our Stanley mugs. Pretty and simple. I hope you can gather some good ideas from this post to celebrate the special Dad in your life.
