It's really rare when my oldest and I get to hang out alone. So last week taking advantage that EMS was in school and my son still had a few days left of summer break, I surprised him by taking him to one of his favorite spots - Ladurée. Granted he had never been there before, but he has had their macarons and loved them. So we enjoyed tea and macarons as you see above. It was a special day and I know he appreciated having my full attention. We will definitely be doing this a lot more often -maybe monthly dates at Ladurée. And of course we walked away with a little box to take home.
