Weekend Memo

It was a busy week getting ready for back to school. Part of me is ready for it and the other part isn't ready for early morning wake-up alarms. And I think I must dread doing homework as much as my son. We decided to put him in a bilingual school so that he can learn to speak Spanish and it means double the homework in both English and Spanish. I'm already worried about it. So next week being the first week of school I'm sure we will all be exhausted by the end of the week. I'll definitely be needing a glass of wine come Friday, if not sooner.With the move, I also feel like our summer was shortened. I definitely wanted more trips to the beach, but thank goodness the weather in Miami allows for almost year-round beach days.
