How To Deck The Table This Holiday Season
This post is sponsored by Target.
To continue with my holiday notes, I wanted to show you how easy it is to transform your table this season. I know from experience that it can be overwhelming to create Thanksgiving and Christmas tablescapes. I find it intimidating because I put a lot of pressure on myself to create a holiday-worthy tablescape. So to take the pressure off, and because, in reality, it only really takes about five minutes and a little bit of planning, to get a festive look, here's how to transform your table for the holidays this season.
Below is my everyday look, created with things I already owned and some new things from the Target Wonderlist collections.
gold flatware, plain white dishes, appetizer plates, metallic napkins, wood paddle
And to create my Thanksgiving table, I layered some festive touches.
I placed mini white pumpkins and eucalyptus flowers across the table. The plates were adorned with mini baguettes and rosemary sprigs tied neatly onto the napkins with gold twine.
My Christmas table is inspired by the Holiday Brights Collection at Target which complimented my colorful Christmas crackers perfectly. I would like to think that the brightness of the table added some whimsy and fun for the kids.
On the table, I added fresh flowers, candles, and bowls of small ornaments and walnuts for a festive flair. The plates were adorned with colorful mini trees that sat next to cheerful Christmas crackers. You could also use the mini trees as place card settings.
I hope you gathered some inspiration and some quick tips to transform your table into a festive, holiday-worthy tablescape for your family and guests. And don't forget, that a quick 5 minutes will transform your table from everyday to festive this holiday season.
