Inside My Daily Summer Travel Beauty Bag

Last summer, I wrote a post on my favorite summer beauty essentials, and not much has changed to that list. But I would add a few more, specifically what I carry in my daily summer travel beauty bag. These are the things that I keep in this zip pouch inside my handbag or my beach tote. And a hat and a pair of sunglasses always keep me company.

For my face:Hydration and sun protection are key, so you'll find a variety of moisturizing products and sunscreens. I'm going to sound like your mom and tell you that it's very important to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, even when you are not at the beach or pool. For me, it's even more important because my skin easily gets sun spots, and because I use a daily peel and products with retinol and hydroquinone, thus making my skin a little bit more sensitive to the sun.- Clarins Multi-Day Cream SPF 20: My choice of moisturizer comes conveniently in a travel size.- Nature Bisse NB-Ceutical Extra Smooth High Protection SPF 50: This is my daily face sunscreen that apply after my moisturizer and before my foundation. I love that it helps to prevent and correct dark spots while intensely hydrating. I use it all year round.- Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist: I use this face mist whenever I need a dose of refreshing my skin after a long day. It's a burst of hydration bounding with floral therapeutics for a quick skin and mind refresh.- Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 45 Powder: I use this after my foundation every morning and thoughout the day if I'm meeting with friends. It works immediately to block out the sun's harmful UVA/UVB infrared rays to help prevent sunburn, skin damage, freckling, and uneven discoloration as it creates the illusion of smooth, radiant skin.- SuperGoop SPF 50 Setting Spray: I use this throughout the day to reapply sunscreen when I'm running errands around town or when I'm at the beach or pool. It's a three-in-one mist that sets makeup, helps control oil and shine, and refreshes your defense against photoaging UV rays with an uplifting scent of rosemary and mint.- SuperGoop Lip Balm: I use this lip balm for those days at the beach or pool.- Chanel Nude Lipstisk in 410: I tend to favor neutral tones for my lips. It's rare when you'll see me with a bright lipstick.For my hair:Not in my daily summer travel pouch, but this dry shampoo and this shine mist keeps my hair looking healthy and fresh on days that I don't wash my hair.For my body: I use a lotion that has SPF on a daily basis, either this one or this one. But when I'm at the beach or pool, I use pack this sunscreen.
