Lovers In Paris

Almost exactly to the day, two months ago we were in Paris {see this post, this post, and this post}. I know it's long overdue, but I'm finally sharing the first part of our Lovers in Paris photo shoot with the lovely Katie Mitchell. I've decided to share them in three parts so  that I don't overwhelm you with so many at once. Stay tuned for more to come.

Ten years together. That's what this trip was about. A sort of anniversary trip to celebrate our love and spend time together. Because when you add little kiddos to the mix, time is barely there. So we escaped to Paris by ourselves. It was magical! Eventually, when the littles are older, we will take them to this special place.

Initially, we were going to stay away from the Eiffel Tower for the photo shoot. Let's just say that the hubby thought it was too touristy and cliché. But after thinking it through, I convinced him that it's THE iconic and classic location in all of Paris. So we met with Katie bright and early, and still very jet lagged, one morning during the golden hour {aka too early}. But the lighting and these photos were totally worth it. We started at Café du Trocadero and we made our way through Paris. As I mentioned above, I'll be sharing more soon.
