Happy November

This time of year I like to infuse my regular cup of coffee with festive touches like cinnamon, lavender or peppermint. In the mornings, I've been using NESCAFÉ Taster’s Choice House Blend coffee.

It's November first today and that means Halloween decorations are coming down to the tune of Christmas music, and that my favorite time of year has officially begun!! It truly is a special time that instantly lifts my mood and makes me sing my favorite holiday songs. You'll hear Michael Bublé's Christmas album in the background from the minute I wake up.  It's never too early for me to start playing holiday music. I start feeling all of the holiday feels and cheers -- inner peace, comfort, and for some reason this time of year I feel extra blessed, as I should because there are plenty of reasons for it.

I'm also excited to begin Christmas shopping, and for all of the holiday launches starting this week. One in particular starts today, Free Babes Handmade -- a store of bows for little girls, but I'm also thinking of snatching a few for me for the holidays.

So this time of year, my to-do lists have a lot to do with the upcoming holidays. My normal routine and to-do lists feel extra special. All of a sudden, they go from feeling mundane to fun. But one thing that remains constant all year round is my cup of coffee while I jot down my to-do list. This time of year though, I like to infuse my coffee with cinnamon, lavender, or even peppermint for a festive touch. Because my cup of coffee has a festive taste, it helps me to take it all in -- all of my holiday feels. And because at this time of day, it's early enough that it's still dark outside, I enjoy the view of my candles and twinkle lights glowing.

My first cup energizes me and the fact that it's November cheers me up. It's easy and effortless to make the most of my day! So here's to the holiday season and to tackling our holiday to-do list!
