Holiday Wreath-Making Brunch

What a wonderful weekend it was! On Sunday, I hosted a holiday wreath-making brunch with some of my favorite girls. Bubbly, Christmas tunes, delicious appetizers, great company, and wreath-making was just the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

On the table, I set a simple cheese plate, small quiche bites, and brie in a puff pastry. For dessert, I made this cranberry lime pie. It's like a Christmas key lime pie. Recipe coming soon.

For the wreaths, here's the list of supplies we used:

5 golden rings, 12" {for 5 of us}floral wirefestive foliagedried lavenderribbon, velvet and silkwire cuttersscissors

None of us had ever attempted to make our own, and I think they turned out better than we expected. I might make it an annual tradition -- because I love traditions.

I placed my finished wreath in our tiny entry. And for some time now, I've been thinking of reupholstering our bench with a grey velvet, and here's how it looks. I added the Target pillow for a festive touch.
