Bedtime Beauty Rituals

My nighttime beauty routine starts just before I hit the pillow. It's become a habit that works for me. I cleanse my face and then sit in bed with a short show or book while I apply the rest of the products. And that's the reason you'll find them on my bedside table.

Here are the products you'll find: eye cream, night moisturizer, calming lavender mist {see below for the recipe}, face serum for dark spots and lines, and hand lotion.

When the year started, I invested in a few new wellness books. Eat Beautiful was one of them and I'm loving the beauty tips and diy beauty treatments. One of my favorites so far, is this calming lavender face mist. Lavender, in case you didn't know, soothes the skin for its anti-inflammatory properties and helps to calm the mind for a restful night's sleep.

Calming Lavender Face Mist

Pour ingredients in spray bottle. Omit the witch hazel if you suffer from dry skin. Apply after cleansing and before your moisturizer.
