Breakfast Smoothie Popsicles
Disclosure: I partnered with Welch's as part of promoting a heart-healthy lifestyle for American Heart Month.
I'm all about eating healthy, especially when it's easy to incorporate into our lifestyle. But like anything else, when healthy doesn't taste good, well I definitely don't repeat the recipe. I started the year on track, but lately I've been skipping breakfast due to time constraints and I know that can't be healthy. So I've been looking into an easy and healthy breakfast or snack that I can make ahead so that it's easy to grab and go.
So I decided to give these grape smoothie popsicles a try. And they have turned out to be a perfect breakfast and even a great midday snack to satisfy my cravings. The kids even love them! My daughter especially loved that they are the color purple.
What I love about these smoothie popsicles is that it includes 100% Grape Juice made with Concord Grapes and grape juice helps promote, support, and maintain a healthy heart -- because of its plant nutrients, polyphenols. And it's never too early to start living a heart-healthy lifestyle as I'm always trying to find new ways to instill healthy habits for my family. One new method I'm using with the kids when it comes to healthy eating habits, is to consider the role color plays about healthy foods -- the more vibrant the color of the food the better and healthier.
So here's to a heart-healthy lifestyle!
Enjoy!
