My Daily Beauty Routine
A new season always inspires me to try new products and update my daily beauty routine. And the simpler the changes, the better. I don't like overdone makeup and I tend to go for a more natural beauty look. I even shy away from too much color on my lips. I'm not sure why, but I like a more natural and simple look. I recently had the opportunity to partner with Perricone MD to try their new No Makeup Instant Blur product and I'm in love. Why? For many reasons, but the main reason is that it's a priming, perfecting balm with instant blurring benefits -- it helps reduce the appearance of redness, pores, and lines.
This primer-like balm blurs the lines between makeup and skincare. It has soft-focus technology to instantly blur imperfections, dark spots, and redness, while Alpha Lipoic Acid minimizes visible pores and fine lines over time. I love that I can use it alone on bare skin to blur imperfections, or under my foundation as a primer for a flawless look without caking or creasing.
And here's my updated daily beauty routine:
Face:
After I cleanse and moisturize my face, I apply the No Makeup Instant Blur. I follow with bareMinerals BarePro Performance Wear Powder Foundation. I then dab a light coat of Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer under my eyes and on my dark spots.
Eyes:
I apply a bit of eyeshadow {the lightest in Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette}. I then use Cover Girl's Perfect Point Plus eye pencil in espresso, and finish my eyes with Chanel's Le Volume Mascara.
Cheeks:
I use MAC's Global Glow Mineralize Skinfinish as a bronzer and I also brush a bit over my forehead and chin. I then use Marc Jacobs Blush in Kink & Kisses. To finish my look, I brush a bit of bareMinerals Invisible Glow powder highlighter.
Lips:
I finish with Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Petal.
Here's to looking beautiful every season!
