The Beach House

Last Friday, we welcomed fall with a trip to the beach. I opted to wear my favorite black dress from Lilla P with my new mexican tote. Since we were going to dinner also, I thought that this dress would make the perfect outfit and indeed it did! Also, this tote has become my favorite beach bag, and I'm even contemplating taking it to Vermont to pick all of those apples from the orchard.

We took the opportunity of taking photos at this favorite beach house in South Beach. I just love it! The simplicity of it was the perfect background for my outfit.

We pretty much had the beach to ourselves as it had rained most of the day. I wasn't even sure we would make it, but as soon as we noticed the skies clearing we went for it. I'm glad we did! It turned out to be the perfect evening with the family.

We enjoyed a casual dinner at Lolo's in South Beach. Tacos and margs for the win!
