Christmas in the South: A Photo Diary
Right after wrapping up our Christmas holiday in Miami, we drove up to South Carolina and Savannah. We spent a few glorious days exploring Beaufort, Charleston, the Hilton Head area, and we finished with an epic couple of days in Savannah. And it snowed! Yes, we were in awe!
We were greeted in the South with really cold weather and we took advantage of the low temps to layer and wear those coats sitting pretty in our closets. It was a short, sweet, and cold trip, but it was just the right amount of time to be away during the holiday season. We came back home refreshed and with enough time to get settled back into our normal day-to-day routines.
I loved seeing my favorite Southern cities decorated for Christmas. It definitely is one of my favorite times of the year to visit.

In Savannah, we took the kids to all of our favorite places -- The Collins Quarter, The Public Kitchen & Bar, and The Paris Market, and we stayed at the beautiful The Kimpton Brice Hotel. We also walked along the squares and enjoyed a couple of hours of play at Forsyth Park.
It was amazing to see the city getting covered in snow. Sadly, we had to get home that day and we left early afternoon against all my wishes. The kids wanted to stay too, but we drove in the snow and that was pretty cool as well.
Hope your holiday season was amazing too!
