Valentine's Day Treats

Happy Valentine's Day! I can't believe it's already v day. How are you celebrating?

For those of you new around here, I love baking. For every holiday almost. And of course, for Valentine's Day I make some pretty pink sweets. This year I made everything here minus the marshmallows and I'm thinking I should make an excuse to do them soon.

Here are some of the sweets we make to celebrate Valentine's Day.

These chocolate stamps are so fun to make. We put them on sugar cookies this year to make them look like envelopes. And how cute are they? Ems took them to her class as treats.

For some time now, I had been wanting to try making homemade cake pops. And Valentine's Day just seemed like the perfect excuse to try them. The actual cake pop is so good, but I feel dipping them in white chocolate took away from the flavor of the cake. So next time, I may leave that last step out.

I used this homemade cake pop recipe here. The kids loved helping me make them and they absolutely loved them. I'll definitely have to make them again for their birthdays.

Oh and we'll be celebrating with sushi and champagne in case you're wondering.
