A Beach Day

True story. I had spotted pink huts like these on instagram here in Miami, so when my niece visited I thought we would go to this beach and take the opportunity to take some photos with the pink huts. Well, my plan went totally wrong when we noticed that the pink huts were surrounded by a wooden fence because they are in a nudist area of this beach. Yes a nudist beach here in Miami! The worst thing was that we had the kids with us, and we actually made it all the way to the fenced in beach because we were so curious to see why that area was fenced. When we later confessed to my hubby this story, he thought what a great cultural experience we gave the kids. Of course, jokingly. But it actually has become a very funny story.

So anyway, off we went to these yellow huts. Still a bit in shock from what our eyes had seen, we set up our towels on the beach, enjoyed the water, and took some photos while the kids played. It was actually a cool day by the water and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. {That nudist beach was packed.}

Changing the subject, I recently received this new-to-me product, Billie. It's a shaving starter kit and I'm loving it. I also got the shaving cream and a body lotion. And how pretty is the branding.

And because it felt extra chilly by the water, I pulled this pretty pink sweater that I had in my bag. I guess I'm not used to the cold weather, especially when at the beach.
