A Day at Biltmore
It was a very hot and balmy day, but we still managed to shoot some photos at Biltmore Estate last Friday. I do have to say that my hair just neglected any curl I gave it but alas, the shoot was planned and the shoot had to go on -- bad hair day and all. Another thing you may notice is that I'm not wearing sunnies. Yay! Sometimes, when I'm shooting for the sake of time, sunnies work because you never know what my eyes will do, but in this case I went for it.

GMG Collecton Dress | Madewell Sandals, similar here | Zara Basket Bag, similar here and loving this one
It was my first time at Biltmore Hotel. I knew it would be a Spanish-inspired beautiful hotel, and I knew exactly what to wear. This pretty GMG Collection Linen dress in this buttercream pastel yellow.
I matched the buildings perfectly, not really meaning too. I mostly dressed for the terrace, where the Spanish tile covered bench is {see photos below}.
The hotel is so majestic, grand, and transports you to a different era. I felt right in and dressed for the occasion. We toured most of the place, except for the pool. It was so humid that unless you had a swimsuit in hand, the pool area seemed even more humid. Next time we'll go ready for a dip in the pool though, and might just make it into a staycation.
You see, how pretty it is! I mean it's hard not to get a good photo here!
Next time you're in Miami, go take a peek at this historic hotel. It's definitely a must!
