A Day at the Horse Races

It's always nice when we change things up a bit on weekends. Last Saturday, we spent the entire afternoon enjoying the horse races. We had never been and decided to give them a try. It turned out that it was one of the best weekends we've had in Miami to date. The weather was pretty perfect too!

It might have been that it was our first time betting on a horse, but somehow we won a few of the races. It was more for fun than anything as we're not the gambling kind, but the kids enjoyed picking their horses and making $2 bets.

It was nice to get a little dressed up, break up from our traditional weekend routine, and enjoy a day out as a family. Ems of course pulled out her unicorn top to wear. And her two front teeth are finally growing.
