A Collection of My Favorite Baubles

I had been eyeing these Beck Jewels earrings for quite a while now -- ever since I saw them on Jacey. You know that feeling when you see something you absolutely love? And when I happened to find them at my local Bloomingdales, and on sale to boot, of course they made it home with me. I love them and I'm bit obsessed. I have been wearing them on repeat since I got them last week. Of course, I wore them out to date night too.
I'm at the point, where I mostly buy things that I know will stand the test of time. And more so, I see the things I buy as heirlooms that can, and hopefully, be passed on to my daughter. I'm building a collection of those things that have some sort of meaning to me, and that when I finally pass them on to her -- at special occasions throughout her life, such as her high school and college graduation, her wedding -- she'll remember me every time she wears them. And hopefully cherish them forever.
I guess I'm a bit sentimental. I treasure family traditions and heirlooms. I cherish family. I love the holidays. I guess in some ways, I'm a bit old-fashioned.
