Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Happy September! The temperatures soon will be dropping, the leaves will be falling, and we'll be sipping on pumpkin lattes. Of course, in true fashion, our calendar is being filled with all of the fall activities -- apple picking, hay rides, and even a trip to NYC. I also can't wait to line our front door steps with pumpkins and mums.

In anticipation of fall weather being just around the corner, I wanted to share a few of my recent purchases for autumn.

First, this coat. High on my wish list this autumn was a camel coat. This A.L.C. coat checked all of my wants.

Because sweater weather is coming. I found these two at Zara recently and they gave me all the Rebecca Taylor vibes, so of course they came home with me. FYI, I'm normally a small at Zara, but got these in large because I wanted a looser and longer fit.

You can never have too many white tops in my opinion. I recently added this one from Joie - don't let the hanger fool you - and I'm sure it will be a staple in my closet.

My dream camel pants -- belted and perfectly high-waisted. These appear to be sold out but I found a similar pair here.

As you can see, my fall color palette will consist of browns, tans, burgundy, white {always and all year-round}, soft pinks, and a little black here and there.
