When my Mom offered a getaway to sunny Scottsdale, Arizona, I jumped at the chance. As much as I love the seasons in the DC area, I’m craving some warm weather and balmy sunsets. Poolside cocktails also sound perfect right now, especially as a snow storm is here and we’re expecting a total of 2 to 4 inches of snow.
Trading my boots for some sandals and shedding some layers to wear spring and summer clothes are giving me something to look forward to. And although the trip is technically in March once spring commences, the weather here won’t be as warm as in Arizona. Before you know it, I’ll be jumping on a plane, and in my effort to stay on top of this trip, I’ve already ordered a few things to take with me. My packing list includes all of the above, along with a few other things.
I’m looking forward to this girls trip with my Mom, doing a little shopping and dining, sitting poolside with some margaritas, and just chatting and enjoying her company.
