Happy Weekend!

Thank goodness it is Friday!

The forecast here for our weekend is rainy.

I was hoping to start painting the dresser I bought hubby while he was away,

but with the humidity that won't happen.  That leaves lounging for this weekend. 

AJ, whom is 22 months, can now watch an entire movie. 

Thursday evening, our power went out.

To entertain him I played Toy Story 1 on the portable dvd player

and he watched the whole thing. I think that is pretty amazing.

I didn't expect him to stay put for an entire movie.

Last Sunday, we had our first Fall rain.

I decided we should make Halloween sugar cookies.

They didn't turn out perfect because I had my Little Associate Pastry Chef helping. 

He loves to help cook or bake. However, they did taste delicious.

We might make more cookies this weekend with this weather.
